Job Title: Ticketing and Reservation Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Book flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements according to client preferences and budget.
- Issue airline tickets, including electronic tickets (e-tickets) and paper tickets.
- Calculate and explain fares, including taxes, fees, and any applicable discounts or promotions.
- Create and manage travel itineraries for clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests related to ticketing.
- Verify and process travel documents, including passports and visas.
- Collect payments from clients for tickets and travel services, issuing receipts and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assist clients with flight changes, cancellations, and refunds, adhering to airline policies.
- Handle requests for seat upgrades, special meals, and other passenger preferences.
- Stay informed about flight schedules, fare changes, and travel advisories.
Qualifications
- BSc or HND from a reputable institution
- 3 years experience in ticketing or customer service preferred.
- Proficiency in ticketing systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
