Job Title: HSE Manager – Golden Pasta
Location: Iganmu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
The Purpose
- Manage the HSE Health Safety Environment of Golden Pasta & Noodles, by directing industrial hygiene, occupational and general safety programs to ensure a safe and clean environment and comply with regulatory regulations.
The Duties
- Coordinate the safety and occupational health component of personnel, materials, equipment and environments to achieve safety effectiveness for the company.
- Monitor and advise management on applicable federal, state, and local legislation and codes governing health and safety.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to evaluate and monitor the impact of the company operations on the environment.
- Respond and provide expertise to all emergencies by facilitating data analysis and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.
- Coordinate all contingency teams during rescue operations in the event of a large-scale hazard or emergency to avoid more damage.
- Ensure compliance with HSE safety standards by reviewing designs of new structures and procurement of safety gear and equipment and conducting on-site reviews plus the audit of operations and facilities.
Qualifications
- B.Sc / HND / B. Tech. in related field
Experience:
- 5 years in a food or beverage manufacturing company.
- Members of the Fire Protection Association of Nigeria, NEBOSH, IOSH, and OSHA will be an added advantage.
The Person Must:
- Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
- Possess interpersonal and stakeholders management abilities.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related HRIS software.
